Hi Guys,

Looking for some advice here.

We are looking at deploying a WLAN solution, roughly 40 x 2330 AP's. They will be on a seperate open network as it is purely for guest access.

My question is:

Would the 40 AP and the WLAN Management System V7.0 be ok or do we need to deploy the WSS2380 also ?

You need a controller for the APs regardless. The 2380 was discontinued, so you'll need the 2382 with the 32 AP upgrade license. The 2382 does 32 APs out of the box, so you'll need the extra licensing to support 40 APs.

yes you need one, the WSS is a key element of Nortel wireless solution.
