I have a Linksys Router-2.4 GHz-802.11b-Wireless B, Model
BEFW11S4. Regular connection to 2 Desktop Computer are working fine. However, the wireless connection between router and my DELL Laptop computer Inspiron 5100 does not function anylonger.

The WLAN monitor says: "Cannot associate with the Access Point".

I tried to put a 26 alphanumeric passkey, which worked before (in 2004). Since I also have Windows XP on this laptop, I tried to create a new automatic passkey, which is
different from the first one, and this doesnot work either.

What do you suggest I should do to regain my wireless connection between the Laptop and the wireless router?

Any suggestion will be most welcome. I miss my wireless connection. However, if I connect the laptop with a cable, it works fine.

Thank you very much for your help.

Charles.

Addendum to my posting:

I phoned to Linksys (Tollfree Number) and they were very obliging. They directed me to a special technical support
group called "Easy Connect" and in 5 minutes my wireless connection was re-established.

Thank you Linksys! You are great!
