Am I right in assuming that along with the Telephony Manager 2245, you would also require one IP Licence for each 2210 handset to be installed.

My reason for me asking is that we have a proposed installation, and as I have not had the opportunity to set a WLAN up yet, I am trying to find out details for our sales team.

Regards

You are correct. Each WLAN set needs an IP client license.

There are two IPs used per phone - the IP on the set itself and the alias address that lives on the 2245. The alias address is what actually communicates with the BCM. The 2245 is the proxy between the BCM and the wireless sets.

The 2245 will go away, someday, once all the wireless QOS standards are fully ratified and accepted by all manufacturers.
