Im setting up an solution where I need to support multiple WLAN Access Points through a 24 port level 2 switch.

I need to know the following:
1. Does anybody know of WLAN AP's supporting private VLAN's for the WLAN connected clients ?
2. How will this affect that the Switch also supports and uses Private VLAN on each port ?
3. Is it nessesary to run private VLAN's on the switch if the AP's support it ?

Proxim AP-2000 will support 16 vlans per interface. All VLANS will have to have the same security settings. The AP will segregate the VLANS using SSID.

Also the Cisco 1200 AP

The operation with the switch depends on your authentication method. Since the AP VLAN uses 802.1x to provide network access on layer 2 I am not sure how this will effect the VLAN switch.

Let me know how this turns out.
