I am having trouble getting my WSS 2380 to connect to the network. Maybe someone could give me a bulleted install sheet of how they would do it. Tired of reading the endless pages of Nortel guides. i have it running to a ERS 5520 switch.
Ports on 5520 are tagged/trunk and part of vlan 1
ran quickstart on 2380
assigned ip address/subnet
created mngmnt vlan 1 and assigned ports to it
I can ping vlan 1 from 2380 but nothing else
can't ping the 2380 from anywhere on the network
am i leaving something out? the books say if i've done all of the above then i should be able to connect with WMS to configure it the rest of the way.
