I keep on getting the error message "Memo file wizstyle.vct is missing or invalid" I have tried numerous times to copy and replace it from another computer with no luck. I uninstalled VFP 9 and reinstalled it and got the same error message. It is preventing me from using VFP 9 SP2.

you get this when you open VFP from the Program Menu?
if so one thing to try is with FoxPro Closed delete the program directory\foxuser.*

When you copied it from another computer, did you just copy the VCT file? You need to also copy the accompanying VCX, otherwise they'll get out of sync, which is why you saw that message.

I copied both the .vcx and .vct files from several different computers and still got nowhere. It seems that only the "gridbtns" is the problem in wizstyle. I can run VFP 9 only if I do not use gridbtns in a form.

Try also to open the gridbtns class and see where wizstyle.vcx is needed open that property / method, change nothing particular, (make an extra blank line f.i.) close and rebuild.
