Witness Stops Recording and Viewer Query Error

We have two issues that keep cropping up with Witness.

First the system will stop recording calls. The only way I know to resolve is to stop and start the cscm service. But if you status it before you stop and restart it, it does say it's running. So I wonder if there is some other process that stopping and starting cscm effects and is resolving the issue.

Also, when running a query in the viewer application it will return an error message "Error in search -". If you rediculously reduce the criteria to a very short period of time, then you can get results.

We're running on version 7.7.1

Anyone have any ideas?

7.7.1 is horribly buggy, ask your supplier to upgrade you to the latest 7.7 service pack.

Biglebowskis Razor - with all things being equal if you still can't find the answer have a shave and go down the pub.

Anyone have any suggestions as to logs that might let us know when these events are happening?
