Withdrawing tapes to CAP

I receive the following error when withdrawing more than one tape into the CAP (cartridge access port):

"nsrjb Jukebox error: Hardware Error, ASC 0x83 ASCQ 0x03"

The first tape always withdraws into the CAP/mailslot with no error. The second tape gives the above error and is not withdrawn.

Does any one have a clue?

What is the command you are using and what is the library? THis would help a great deal in answering your question. Also what version of NetWorker?

Hey,

Thanks for responding. I am running Networker 6.1 on Solaris. The backup unit we have is a ATL_p2000. I think I found the problem. Port 2 on the CAP had the silver lock button in place as if there was a tape in the port. Therefore, no tapes could be deposited into port 2.
