hello

In vectors, one can have this line

7 route-to number XXX with cov y if digit = 1

My question is : What is the difference between >

cov y

and

cov n

??

Cov y means once routed follow the coverage rules for the number routed to.

Cov n means don't follow the coverage rules for the number routed to.

Let's say extension XXXX has a coverage path of 1 and that sends calls to voicemail after 4 rings. If a vector line read:

route-to number XXXX with cov n

Any calls to XXXX through this vector would not go to voicemail but calls directly to XXXX would still go to voicemail after 4 rings.

great explanation thejkro, thanks !!
