Are my suspicions correct; with Apache 1.3 I had a 'srm.conf' file in addition to httpd.conf

With the newer version, I can no longer find this file.

Would I be correct in thinking that I no longer need said and that any previous entries to srm.conf can be appended to httpd.conf?

Best regards

Hi

Had you read the Upgrading to 2.0 from 1.3 document ?
Run-Time Configuration Changes said:
The [tt]AccessConfig[/tt] and [tt]ResourceConfig[/tt] directives no longer exist. Existing instances of these directives can be replaced with the [tt]Include[/tt] directive which has equivalent functionality. If you were making use of the default values of these directives without including them in the configuration files, you may need to add [tt]Include conf/access.conf[/tt] and [tt]Include conf/srm.conf[/tt] to your [tt]httpd.conf[/tt]. In order to assure that Apache reads the configuration files in the same order as was implied by the older directives, the [tt]Include[/tt] directives should be placed at the end of [tt]httpd.conf[/tt], with the one for [tt]srm.conf[/tt] preceding the one for [tt]access.conf[/tt].

Feherke.
