wise instaler doesn't work

any software that comes with wisw instaler get's my CPU activity to 100 and doesn't do enything else ( doesn;t install the programe ) I use win XP SP 2 . I have tried a number of softwares and neither works . The work on other PC's thow .

Does it error out? Or stop working completely? Or do you eventually lose patience and reboot and cut the installation off?

Check the Event logs - Application and System. See if you can learn anything by looking at that.
