Hi!

I'm tring to get Digital phone KX-T7665 to work in a PBX KX-TDA100 conected in a MPR(DX) Card at Slot1.

Seem that no matter how do I wire the jack, it does not come to live!..

Is anything to configure in the maintenance console required?

Any Trick?

PS. when I'd wire inner wires to outter wires, and connect the phone, there is a sligh sound, but the display does no turn on!

Best Regards!

you need to connect a 7665 phone to a DHLC or a DLC card
and it needs to be connected to the second pair if you are not familiar with this system you should contact a professional to do it properly

you can only connect a digi phone to one of the following cards

KXTD-A 0170X 8 X DIGI HYBRID EXT CARD
KXTD-A O171X 8 X DIGI EXTS + DXDP CARD
KXTD-A 0172X0E 16 DIGI EXTS + DXDP CARD

peter...

Thank you for answer!

Well, I wrote MPR(DX) but its a DHLC card!

1 1
2-------------2
3-------------3
4 4
PBX Regular Phone

I wire the 7665 this way:

1
2-------------1
3-------------4
4
PBX Regular Phone

No Success!

pin 3 & 6 {two outer pin on rj14 jack} Blk/yellow or orange/white pair.

I was NOT the guy that patch wire the PBX; Actually has a Regular Phone working this way:

1
2
3 1
4-------------2
5-------------3
6 4
7
8
PBX Regular Phone (Working OK)

I'd tried this -by advise of PBX service provider-:

1
2
3 2
4-------------1
5-------------4
6 3
7
8
PBX 7665 Phone (NOT Working)

Well, Thank you guys!, I gonna call the PBX provider!

Best Regards!

Check your program ext. type. look like a program problem or that your tda100 ver do not support 7665 phone .
Are you in the USA or UK ?

Cat5 The Electrical Codes, Hellermann Tyton Socket:

Pin codeA codeB
1 GreenS - OrangeS
2 Green - Orange
3 OrangeS - GreenS
4 Blue - Blue
5 BlueS - BlueS
6 Orange - Green
7 Brown - Brown
8 BrownS - BrownS

Somehow, there codes for Cat3 Socket is Neither A or B:

1 GreenS
2 OrangeS
3 Blue
4 BlueS
5 Orange
6 Green
7 NC
8 NC

So the Cat3 was wired according Elec. Code B from Cat5!

Its a giant waste using 8-wire jacks for
voice and you can see something that is
so simple can turn into a long drawn out
fiasco when you have network people dabling
in voice
