I've searched many of the discussions, but I haven't found
any that are descriptive enough for me to be sure what the
wiring pinouts should be through the walls in my house.
I've ran the CAT-5 wire to most of the rooms in my house
and have used the following connections in each of the
rooms:

White/Orange-stripe
Orange
White/Green-stripe
Blue
White/Blue-stripe
Green
White/Brown-stripe
Brown

I got this information from a magazine.

However, the magazine did not show what the other end of
the cable should look like. From several articles and
messages, I believe the other end of the cable should be
the same, but I'm unsure. Could someone confirm this
information or tell me the correct cabling method?

Thanks,

Yep.. they should match and make a "straight through" station cable. They should all tie back to your hub/switch. Now to tie the hub to a DSL "modem" or router, you may need to make a cross-over cable or see if there is a switch to flip to make a port crossed or not.

Each end should have an RJ-45
UTP CAT 5.
means Unsheilded Twisted Pair Category 5 = 5 twists per foot thus insuring less interferance for 100 BASE-T.
