Another problem. I have a Dell 8200 2.2Mhz and I am using a Linksys A+G wireless access card. Several weeks ago I notice a strange CPU spike whenever the machine was on. The spike was about 70% and occured about every second. This really slowed the machine down. This weekend I decided to get to the bottom of the problem. Previously I ran a full virus scan and found the sasser worm on the machine. Ran the removal tools with some success but the spikes are still there. I have turned off services until I found what is causing the spikes. If I turn of wireless zero the spikes are gone. Previously this machine had a D-link wireless card. I am not sure what is causing the spikes only that they go away when I turn of wireless zero. Any thoughts?

The rollup has already been installed on this machine. Didn't fix it. I was wondering if the D-link software might be causing something to happen. I have WZCSLDR.EXE in the startup files from Alpha Systems which I understand is or was a subsidiary of D-link. May have to do with their speed booster. I have disabled the program in startup but maybe Wireless Zero was altered? i appreciate any input.
