I'm having a 2nd attempt to set up wireless networking at home and failing quite badly.

I have for ease purchased a 3com Officeconnect ADSL Wireless 11g combined modem/router.

Unfortunatley the only way I can access it is if I have the ADSL connection active and then that has to be via my old USB ADSL modem.

It's driving me wild really. Also if I have the router on then the USB connection won't connect to the internet.

I've tried starting over again but it's still not working. Can anyone advise me please ? If you need to know anything then please post and I'll let you know !

Thank you

Dont understand your note. Can you connect dirrect (via Ethernet) to the new router to get it set up? Going to be difficult to get it set up 'out of the box' using wireless only. Didn't understand the bit about 'has to be via my old modem'.
All the best
James

I think he's trying to say that his computer is pointing to an old USB connection rather than pointing to the new wireless device?
