jimbopalmer, thanks for responding to my question.
If I run cat5 cable to the other building and install the linksys "piggy back" base unit, which is suspose to bust signal and give you more distance, could I get it to work to 40 users that way? I don't know much about band width and wireless systems, but if I understant this correctly, the more people using wireless from one access point cuts the band with down and slows transmission?
I own an RV Park and I'm trying to give free internet to all that live there. I can reach 10 people from my office via wireless because there is nothing blocking their view but the other 40 cant see me. I hope this explanation helps to see my delma.
again thank for your input "jpeg"

You need to check the ageement you signed with your ISP, but if by some amazing chance this NOT in violation of that ageement:

1) how many are perment residents? if all 40 are overnighters, the chance that they will all want online at once seems lower to me. if only 10 want access any evening, the disadvantages go down

2) metal buildings are the worst for wireless networking, a fair number of RVs will resemble metal buildings. they may need external antennas, I honestly don't know.

3) ISP wire -- router -- Wireless acess point ---external antenna repeater on tall building (external antenna---- access point in RV repeated 40 times) I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
