Hi gents,

I'm looking for a phone wireless solution but not sure what to go for between Wifi and DECT.

The only requirement I have is that I need a phone that supports multiple lines and which would give me the possibility to identify incoming calls (i.e I must be able to make the difference between ringing lines)

I read Wifi supports that but I'm concerned about roaming issues. Also, I would like to use my existing Cisco access points.

If I go for a DECT solution, the coverage would suit my needs but no word is said about multiple lines.

Has anyone of you had a similar infrastructure ?

Many thanks.

If you are using a 3300 then the 5610 IP DECT phone is your answer.

Hmmm I don't think so: when I create a new user with an 5610 DECT phone, I can't assign an additional single line whereas i can do it with a 802.11.

It might be the answer I was looking for

The 5610 will support 2 lines but the second line can only be programmed as a multi call of the first line, not a different extension.
