Can anyone recommend a wireless packet capture software application please.

I would seriously recommend Network General Sniffer. It is a very nice application. (Expensive, but worth it)

If they are too pricy for your org, then check out Network Instruments. The Network Observer is a decent second place application. (Definately nice for the price. NI says it can do the same things as NG, its just that NG does better with the detail of the capture. Where as NI still needs to define parts of the packet.)

Between the two companies, if you were able to merge all the qualities of these two companies... man what a product! But unfortunatly, they are not sharing, and we are stuck with detailed packet analysis great features at a hefty price, or decent packet capture with excellent features at a cheaper price.
