Wireless Setup for 2 laptops with docking station 1

I have 2 HP6000 laptops, Sprint DSL and would like to go wireless. The main laptop is docked in an HP docking station and the DSL runs to the docking station. I am interested in the Linksys router and 2 of the G cards. My question is if I can run the router thru the docking station

You could, but it would be simpler to go DSL modem --> router

And then docking station --> router

Since I am putting wireless cards in the laptops do I need to have the router go to the docking station? Does the router send out the signal?

If you insert a wireless card you do not need a wired connection to the docking station.
