My customer has a wireless single line plugged into a Partner 18D set. How can this single set transfer calls to other extensions' voicemail by the flash button? If the voicemail transfer feature F14 can't be used, can one transfer a call to an extension, then let the extension ring and go to VM?

Flash to get to Intercom, # (which is the same as Feature) 14 (voice mail transfer) and the extension number.

Do I need to set Automatic line selection to "Intercom" on the 18D?

No, you would be off hook talking to the caller, just do like Tommy said. When you press flash, you will get intercom tone.

The result of testing this was that the SL set plugged into the aux port can transfer calls to extensions, but does not work for direct VM transfer, using # 14. The limitation is that there is no way to access the feature key. This is for rel 7.0

program dnd buttons on the users phones.

transfer to the ext, and when in dnd it will go to vm.

have users engage dnd when they are away.
