In my company, I have about 150 notebook users.
today we just use WEP 128bit security.

I know, that WEP is not very secure.

What can I do to make my security better?

My idea is to use a VPN gateway.
Or is it better to use 802.1x with radius?

Have you some experience with this?

Your next transition should be from WEP to WPA2.

This will handle XP SP2 client side issues:

You will need to talk to your access point and router folks about upgrading your firmware to support WPA2.
