Wireless Scanners and VB application

I am collecting info for a potential project and I have no idea how scanners work with applications.

If I were to use a wireless handheld scanner to scan an item, how would a vb application pick up the bar code I just scanned?

It is downloading the .pdf file to your computer. You have to give it time. DougP, MCP
