Excuse my lack of wireless knowledge here, but I am unable to see my network on the LAN fro my Wireless Access point. I have a DSL connection that is connected to an ActionTec wireless modem. This is the only connection device that can be used because of the connection type into the ISP. It is basically open for passthrough where I have connected to it a Sonicwall SOHO3 firewall which protects the LAN. I have set up a laptop to connect to the ActionTec via wireless, and can see the internet fine. Do I need the ActionTec Wireless on the other side of the SoniWall firewall to be able to see the LAN, or can I still access the LAN even if my wireless is outside the firewall? All static IP's are correct, the only difference being the gateway for on the wireless vs the gateway for wired access from the SW on the LAN. I cannot ping the SW from the laptop wireless connection, nor can I ping the Wireless router from the LAN side. Am I doing this right? Can it even be done with the wireless on the WAN side of the firewall. I apologize if this question has been asked in the forums but I could not find such a post.
