Hi allm,

we are currently running ip office manager 11.0.4.1.0 build 11. we are in need of adding a wireless phone to our system. i ordered a 3645 not realizing that it is EOL and I cant get a charger for it. Any have any ideas of a simple solution to add a wireless sip phone to our existing avaya infrastructure? I am not a phone guy by any means. looking for some honest help. Thanks in advance!

Something like a gigaset N510 with 3rd Party IP Endpoint license.

And do yourself a favor, call an Avaya IP Office business partner.

We install the Engenius Durafon-SIP. You can talk on that phone out in the parking lot. It has a range of 1 mile line of sight. You will also need a 3rd party IP Endpoint license for each phone. The base can hold up to 10 extensions.

Engenius is great but if you have decent WiFi and don't need the range then a SIP client on a cell phone with 3rd party IP endpoint license is my poison of choice.
As long as the phone doesn't have to be used by multiple users of course.
