Is there such a thing as a wireless phone adapter for a Meridian PBX? I just ordered my first PBX, and I wanted to see if I could put phones in different rooms without messing with wiring. I'm thinking an adapter that plugs into the phone port on the Meridian, and then an adapter that plugs into the phone. I've never seen such a thing, though, so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions?

Thank you!

err, I meant Meridian KSU, sorry (couldn't see a way to edit it)

In the past there was a digital phone with a wireless handset. That kind of pieces has never been reintroduced with newer models. You sholud better to buy a analog phone with DECT capabilities as you can buy for home. Otherwise, you can have DECT for the whole company that needs to have a DECT coverage with Station base. Newer technologies gives you the ability to have WLAN set, but company coverage have also to be done with IP antennas.

Knowing your system, you would look for an "ATA" on ebay. Analog Termial Adapter.

turns a Norstar port into a plain line that generic phones work on.
