I have a problem with my orinoco card.

I install it by the book. It works perfect, but when I even dare to restart my PC, it's gone. It doesn't find the card anymore. I have to delete all the drivers in the WINNT/inf and WINNT/SYSTEM32 directory and reinstall the whole bunch to get it working again.

Anyone with a solution for this kind of problem.

Tnx

I can't say that I have had this problem with an Orinoco product since I don't use them (no particular reason), but I have had this problem with a 3 COM 10/100 NIC. Not sure what of the two fixed my problem since I did them back-to-back, but I updated the Bios on my PC and grabbed the latest drivers off 3 Coms web site. I would give these two things a try but be cautious about updating the Bios.

tnx,

The driver upgrade was the problem (I think).
