My laptop is catching a NETGEAR network but its secured. and if I try to connect it is asking a Network key or WEP/WPA key... what should I put in...?

If it's your Netgear equipment, then type in the WEP key that would have been entered into the router's WiFi security settings. If it's not yours, then you shouldn't be trying to connect to it unless the owner's given you permission...
