Hello all,

I've got a wireless network set-up, which has been working fine between two desktop computers, one using 98 the other XP, and have now been told to add a lap-top to this setup.

I've networked everything okay (the computers can all see each other) however, the internet speed is very slow on the laptop - what could be the possible causes of this? It's also running XP Home.

While using the laptop, connect to the BroadbandReports site and do a tweak test.

Use their freeware utility DrTcp to adjust your MTU and RWIn values as recommended after the test.
