I have a problem connecting my laptop to my home network. I have a file sharing network on 3 comps, 2 desktops and 1 laptop. So let's say #1, 2 are my desktop comps (#1 being my main CPU) and #3 is my laptop. So, 1 & 2 can share files both ways, same for 2 & 3. 1 can share files to 3, but 3 doesn't see 1 on the network places. I've tried to look at a lot of settings to see if #1 restricted access to other comps, but since #2 can acces my shares files, the problem is either with #1 or 3.
All 3 comps are part of the same workgroup. I have a DI-524 D-Link Router (wireless w/ WEP security enabled). My laptop is a Dell XPS Gen 2 running XP Home, My main comp is a P4 system running XP Pro, I have a cable internet connection. Both have windows firewall enabled.
I don't know all that much about configs, so please be specific if you're suggesting I change one setting or another.
