Hi,
My personal wireless lan consists of 5 machines (4 xp, 1 osx) running through a netgear dg834gt, offering 108mb/s to adapters capable of recieving this speed.
I'm having trouble with the speed of the connection, however.
For example, running smb between my ibook (airport extreme) and my xp tower (belkin 54g). I'm recieving speeds of about 0.5mb/s which is ridiculously slow..
I would like to be able to use the lan to stream video off usb external drives connected to various machines, to my ibook which hooks up to my TV.
Is my setup incorrectly configured? or does anyone know of any way in which I can increase transfer speeds between clients.
All advise is greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
DigiPencil.

You may be having either interference or too weak of a signal. Both of these will drop the speeds on a wireless access point. Can you see any other wireless networks? Are they on the same channel? Where is your Access Point Located? How far away are the PC's?
