Has anyone ever found a wireless headset that worked with a 3905 without having to add a lifter kit to get external alerting. In other words they know the phone is ringing when they are away from their desk. I can get the alerter to work with a wired headset but not a Plantronics CS70 wireless headset.

I have not found a wireless headset that will work without the lifter adapter. We use the Jabra 9350 with the GN1000 and some good double-sided tape.

We use the VXi Model V100 with the M3905s in our call center. I believe the compatibility setting is "D". As there is no handset to the 3905, a lifter adapter is unnecessary. We also use this headset on the M3904s, also without a lifter adapter, just using the Headset button.
This is the headset.
Hope this helps.
