Can anyone suggest a wireless card, 802.11g or 11b, that I can find a driver for Linux for? {Red Hat Linux 8.0} I was trying to run a Linksys 802.11g network at home with a couple of Linux boxes, but unfortunately I have had no luck finding a driver that is suitable. On the linux boxes I have installed PCI wireless cards, 802.11g.

Thanks,

Odin

I kbnow someone out there must be using a Red Hat Linux network running WiFi!!! If so please let me know what hardware your using. Looking for an 802.11g adapter, but can settle for slower if need be.

Thanks!

Thanks for the information, but I can do without the comment "Friend". I thought the purpose of this forum was to share knowledge regarding Linux OS issues, hence the question. I have searched for drivers on MY particular PCI adapter, but was broadening my scope to include this venue in the hopes that someone had this information. Ignorance makes us all stupid.
