Hello,
I have just installed a Wi-Fi network and need help adding security. I know what I want to do.
1] Enable 128-bit WEP
2] Prevent broadcasting of network ID
3] Change network ID from belkin54g
4] Tell my router to only accept connections from my MAC addresses
but I am finding it hard to find a how to site?
I am using
1] Belkin router model FSD7230-4, this router has 3 MAC addresses listed on the label, the router is connected to a cable modem and it was set up by the IP company technician
2] Wireless CardBus Notebook Adapter Buffalo g54
3] Notebook 1 OS is XP SP2
4] Notebook 2 OS win 2000 pro
5] Norton Internet security is enabled on both notebooks
6] Windows firewall is disabled on both notebooks

I would also like to be able to connect both notebooks together and share a printer.
Kind regards :-( feeling very vulnerable
