Does anyone know, or can recommend, a software package that can locate the position of a wireless access point/router etc...? I've inhereited a small project to audit a wireless network with devices that have been installed above suspended ceilings and would rather not have to lift up lots of tiles to find the things!

TIA

NetStumbler should work for the software. You will also need a laptop (or other portable computer) with a WAP and a couple of antennas (one omni-directional, one very directional). You may need a GPS card in the laptop (but only if you're working in a large area).
