I'm working on a dual boot 2k/2k server notebook. The wireless NIC is a 3com XJack a/b/g pcmcia. The router is an SMC2804wbr. I have enabled firewall features and using 40-64 bit encryption key on the access point.
On the 2K pro box everything works well. I can athenticate, obtain an IP, browse internet etc. On the server box, I can connect and get an IP however I cannot connect to any devices. i.e. I can't even bring up the router admin page. i have tried with static/dynamic addressing.
I can successfully ping the router. The server has no networking services such as dns, dhcp and is not a dc.
Since I am not very strong in the RAS/Security features(yet), I'm wondering if anyone can provide an answer/hint as to what I need to do to allow internet browsing from the server for example. In the meantime, I'll keep hacking at it.

Any help appreciated.

OK. Semi-figured it out. I modified the IPSec policy for IP traffic and am now able to access internet via the access point. Would still appreciate any suggestions on how best to configure this setting.

O Carallo
