I am using windows 2000, I just got a new wireless nic card for it. However IT will only connect to my wireless router if I enable the ssid on my router to broadcast. Even if I manually enter the SSID into the wireless software that came with the card. IT connects fine if i broadcast the ssid but without the broadcast no dice. On another laptop I was able to connect to my router fine without the broadcast enabled. |I am thinking this may be an issue with the software that came with the card. Windows 2000 wireless management is lousy, I was wondering what may be a good program to try to allow my card to connect without the SSID broadcast being enabled. |Thanks
