Hi all,
first of all, i should tell you that i am new to all these wireless things, i just have to do an assignment and i am looking about them.
now, with this on the side, my question.
i have 2 buildings to connect wirelessly, i am going to need one bridge on each building, that much i know. will i need an antenna as well? and if i do need one, why? since i have been looking around and what i understood is that bridges can comunicate Peer2Peer for up to 40 miles or so.
also, someone told me that the bridge can not use cambles for more than 10meters (something like 30 feet), from the pc to the bridge or from the bridge to the antena. is that true? and if yes, how can i connect my LAN that exist on the rist floor with the bridge/antenna that is on the roof of the building more than 10 meters up?
if you could give me some webpages as well to look at and add them on the bibliography that would b great, but i need to understand all these things first.
Thank you all,
Ilias
