We have a wireless bridge that was installed a couple of years ago. It has recently started dropping the connection at random, unfortunately the company that installed it has since gone out of business so we're left trying t fix it our selves.

When the connection drops i can still get in touch with the web interface so it's not power failure and if i reboot the Airstation the connection is re-established. The connection is then fine for a few more hours.

One end of the bridge is using a Buffalo Airstation WLA-G54 and the other is using a WBR-G54.

Can anyone give me an idea how i can troubleshoot this?

Thanks.

It could be hitting interference from another wireless network. Have you checked to see if there are any other networks on the same channel?

This is the only access point on the campus as far as i know and it's quite a large area so i can't see it been an off site point interfering. I'll check to make sure tho.

If i can't find one do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks.
