I'm looking for a software package to monitor my wireless access points from my workstation. All I'm interested in is who is connected, and who may be trying to connect. All the Waps are manageable via http, but it's too cumbersome keeping all the pages open in Internet Explorer, and this doesn't give me any alarm capability. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for some Enterprise-class package with more bells and whistles than I need. There must be something out there, but I've yet to find it. We run Win 2K on the workstations and laptops, Netware on the servers, and the access points are all D-Link, with the exception of (1) Orinoco AP-4000. Does anyone know of any good monitoring software I could try? Thanks

Still trying to do this myself, but I am trying to use MRTG to monitor my WAPs. As long as SNMP is configurable on your WAP, you can probably use this program. Are you familar with it?
