I have been traveling the states lately and discovered in quite a few airports that I cannot connect successfully to my office. I can connect with the VPN cisco client, however I cannot open outlook afterwards (just hangs..waiting to connect). Also, I find the OWA doesn't always work either. But I am able to connect to the office from my house. Is it a problem with airports blocking certain types of traffic?

Which Airports and what was the DNS and IP you were assigned? Was it Goldmine or Tmobile or AT&T or just a linksys router in some back office? I fly quite a bit, and I can always connect to the office and use Outlook.

They may not allow VPN tunnels to be established, therefore stopping you connecting.

Only the truly stupid believe they know everything.
