Wireless 802.11b network card

Can someone recommend a 802.11b standard 11Mbps wireless network card that works well with Linux and has specific drivers for Linux.

Most WiFi cards all use the same chipset so drivers are quite common. Look for cards using the "Prism II" (or "2") chipset and you can't go far wrong. If you are unsure manufacturers always seem happy to give information.
I use the drivers from They work well although are a little strange to set up. I have used them with PCI, PCMCIA and USB adapters. There's a small list of compatible hardware on the site. I'd steer clear of the Actiontec PCI cards though as I have had problems using it with BX motherboards (as in win/linux/bios don't see the card at all!). Linksys stuff seems to work great tho.
