This problem is honestly driving me up a wall, and if any help can be offered, it would be greatly appreciated. =) have a wired print server hooked up to my wireless router and am printing wirelessly (sort of). Everything worked fine for the first few days, however, all of a sudden, when I tried to print from my notebook, it said that the print server was disconnected. To fix this, all I need to do is unplug my print server and plug it back in after a few minutes. My notebook can then see my print server and I can print again. I keep getting disconnected and I have to power cycle my print server every few days. I've already upgraded the firmware on my router and print server. This problem is driving me nuts! Does this problem have anything to do with my dynamic IP? I've already contacted Linksys and it was the most pointless call that I've ever made. Thanks so much for reading this, everyone! I really appreciate it.

Hello,

We have similar problem with a netgear print server. Every once in awhile when you send a document to the printer it just disapears in the que and nothing prints. I dosn't happen too often so I havn't really looked into it. I know that we are using a different driver becuase this print server does not have a driver for windows server 2003. My guess was that the driver was causing problems.

You should configure your print server to use a static ip address. Also you can go in your router and reserve the ip address for your printer so another device doesn't use it.

It's only easy when you know how.
