Has anyone heard of this wire wrapper called the Hospital Wrapper? It is used to twist the hanger wire back on itself.
We shoot many hangers into the ceiling to support the cable straps and twisting the wire once the strap is on is not fun.

Does anyone have a better idea for twisting the 1/8" steel wire?

Could you not twist the wire on before attaching to the ceiling as the tool in your link does? You don't need that tool to wrap like that.

The answer is "42"

We do twist all hangers prior to attaching to the ceiling, it's just twisting them in general. The 1/8" wire can get tough...the current job has over 300 hangers. We just want a TIGHT and fast twist. Ive heard of some using a small pipe to assist in twisting.

Thanks, I'll check into that. We need tight wraps.
