Using AE CS3 on one computer and AE 7 (just updated) on another computer.

So, wire removal...

In Photoshop, I'd just copy a fuzzy patch of pixels next door, but that's a still image. Is there a motion-tracking sort of technique for moving images?

How would you do it? Any favorite tutorials?

There is a new wire removal tool that allows you to do the same with a straight line.

As long as your "wire" isn't a bending cable, it'll do all of the heavy lifting for you. It's in the 3rd party freebies: CC Wire Removal

I found that -- been working with it. It... usually does okay. Sometimes I've had to cheat a bit.

Sometimes I cut a mask to cover just the wire and change the masked layer's levels enough to make the wire invisible.
