Good day ..

New to XP Prof, IIS and Visual Interdev.

I have upgraded to XP Prof (NTFS), installed the IIS and extensions that come with the OS. And while using Visual Interdev, I cannot get a video file to play.

I add the item to the project, and then using HTML-Image I add the video file. I then change the src to dynsrc and add a start=mouseover and loop=infinite (this works perfect in Win2000 Prof).

When I duplicate the exact actions on my XP pc, not only does the video file not play, it looks like a disconnected picture (can't see any image, looks like link is broken).

Any help is much .. much appreciated.

I know this is a little basic however have you checked to make sure that you have the path to the file correct and that you have set the proper permissions to allow your page to access the video file?
