WinXP pcA 11 cannot dial in to Win2K pcA10

I launch a host in the Win2K pcAnywhere version 10 machine and try to dial in from a WinXP pcA version 11 machine. The connection starts, I supply a caller id and password and then it hangs. The host Win2K pcA 10 machine has a status of Remote user logging in but it never does. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

Encryption Level set?
User set up on host?

I have connected from 11 to 10.5. Doubt it is a version issue but could be.
