I have WinXP Home on a 550 MHZ. computer. When I open up the Settings for color 8 bit color comes up. When I go into the Settings again and change the Settings to 32 bit color, all is fine until I turn the computer off and back on again, then the settings go right back to 8 bit color. I click Apply, go through all the steps, same thing. I have built several computer's, can do quite a bit with them, but this stumps me completely. I have tried everything I know of. I think anyone who can solve this one for me is a genuis. Thank You!

The driver springs to mind, I've had trouble before with corrupt/wrong drivers, its a long shot but re-install\change\update driver and also see what your monitor can handle

Try using 16-Bit or another setting, does this do the same thing?

Is the card onboard or have you added it to the PC?
