Hi,

I know this thread here supposed to be 2000 server. But cant find a thread for xp.

This laptop running on winXP sp1 does not hibernate/stand by each time i close the lid of the laptop. It shows the window pop-up "Preparing for standby" but it just stays that way. It'll never go into hibernate/standby mode. I need to physically power shut the laptop and power it back on.

Anyone knows what's wrong?? I've updated my drivers and it's still the same.
