Hi All,

One of my FoxPro 2.6 / Windows apps is acting up on Windows XP Professional -- whn the user starts a certain file import process, she gets the error "FoxPro caused a general protection failure in module WIN87EM.DLL", but only the first time after booting the computer.
The app is closed automatically, and then she runs the same application after deleting/rebuilding the index files and it works without a hitch for the rest of the day.
Now I could tell those people to leave their computer on forever from this day forward, but does anyone have an idea of how to resolve/workaround this ?

Thanks in advance,

Jan Schenkel.

Jan,
This is a Win 3.x 16-bit DLL, described as "Microsoft Windows 3.1 Coprocessor/Emulator Library 7.00.00". Can you list the code the import module is using? Any machine running XP should have a numeric coprocessor and not need this emulation!
