Hi all,
Here is our situation. I have a Windows 2000 Server running SQL Server 2000. We recently added a WindowsXP machine to the network. The machine needs to connect outside the domain to the internet thru a gateway. No problems. It also needs to connect to the 2000 Server for the SQL Server.
Everything was set up using a static IP with the 2000 server in the DNS search order along with the primary and secondary DNS addresses for the internet.
My problem comes durin random times. When the user tries to connect to the SQL server (thru our application) we get the following message "Cannot generate SSPI context". If we reboot, we connect fine. Anyone have any cluse as to why this is happening?? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
